What's Your Favorite Drink?

Sweet alcohols generally speaking, aren't good for copious drinking.

And to answer the thread question, I drink everything, except Pastis. Yuck.

Irish whiskey, Bushmills for preference.

On the age issue, most kids start drinking here at 12/13 (usually cheap white cider or vodka).

lesson i learnt the wrong way. never have more than 15 shots of straight baileys : |
That's really not a lot (coming from a college (binge) drinker). Baileys is only 17% alcohol.
I think the cream would be the problem, not the alcohol.

Or the sugar... try Ammarula next time, less sugar...less sick

I'd have to say Yoo Hoo in a 16 oz. bottle. Maybe like, 53 degrees or so. Alcohol however, I guess it'd have to be some classic Mike's Hard Lemonade. Went to my uncle's house when I was like 15 and he asked me what I wanted to drink, I said lemonade; long story short, Mike's is my fave.

The only drinks I like are Coke, Tuborg beer (rarely), Guinness beer (very rarely), fermented guarapo (a sweet drink made from the juice of sugar cane) and Martinelli Non-alcoholic Cider. As you might surmise from my choices, you could conclude that I higly dislike alcohol. As a matter of fact I've never been drunk in my life.

King Of Creation: its not the alcohol content that makes it back. This coming from a teen binge drinker.

Guiness extra stout, Sam Adams, or Miller Highlife when it comes to beer, or Grey Goose Vodka straight for just getting drunk.

Non-alcoholic means I don't get drunk, so i don't have a favorite. 8)

Which Sam Adams, the Boston Lager or the Boston Ale (or one of the specialties)? Sam Adams is just about the only American beer worth drinking, with the exception of some microbreweries that we don't get here in Ultima Thule.

WOW...I just had Yuengling last night. Every flavor too. Original Black and Tan, Dark Brewed Porter, Traditional Lager, Premium Light, Premium Beer, Lord Chesterfield Ale, and the Light Lager. It was a veritable Yuengling party at my friends apartment before we went out and caused some mayhem at UCONN Spring Weekend. Yuengling has become my favorite beer. I venture as far as to say its the best beer in the world.
Oh and UCONN Spring Weekend. Wow, crazy ass times. One of the slogans on a t-shirt I got: "UCONN: A Drinking School with a Basketball Problem"

hmm... dont know how about you people, but i dont really like all those cocktails.. i preffer raw alcohol, aka vodka... but im also russian, maybe that explains..

Jolt
Coffee (with cream)
Yoo-Hoo
Gatorade
Pepsi
Tangerine Juice
Sam Adams - Boston, I find it quite sweet.

No particular order.

Damn you alcoholics.

Had some Glenfiddich 21 year old Havana Reserve today (my friend's treat), quite possible the best whisky I've had, at least it's right up there with the Bowmore 25 year old.

don't you mean "gran reserva" ? I love glenfiddich, i have the 15 yo solera reserve and the 30 yo xxx... but the best one i had was a 1968 that i tasted in 2000 at a wine and spirits show.

Bowmore is also awesome, i juts love the seesalt/peaty-moss/smoke flavors, the 30 yo has that green apple/chocolate taste too. I haven't had the pleasure of having the 25yo tho.

Auchtentoshan 21 yo ... if you haven't tried it so far aim for it next time, i had teh pleasure of tasting that one with the (can't remember the english word for it so i'll use brewmaster) , at the ned, he refused to let us go before we had finished the bottle, we were about ten so it was no biggy. However we had been tasting scotches for two hours... and we were all starting to be "happy".

I just acquired some Grand Marnier Cuvé Louis Alexandre, very good, but the cuvé du centennaire is still my favorite Grand Marnier, so much that i now dislike regular Grand Marnier.

Didn't they ban Jolt or something? I remember hearing a little something about it a couple years ago; a little too much for little kids' little livers to handle or some ridiculous accusation. I haven't seen it here in Utah for like 2 years now, but then again, it is Utah...

Yeah, Gran Reserva is the correct name, my bad. I also had Demerara rum matured on Laphroaig casks (can't remember the label of the rum, Demerara is just the method of production), but it was quite disappointing, not as good as I had hoped to. Best matured rum I've had so far is the El Dorado 15 yo closely followed by the Matusalem 12 yo, but I haven't had nearly as much rum as whisky. How about matured tequila, ever tried that? So far, I've only had the Gran Centenario Añejo. Can't say that I'm overly fond of cognac, but maybe that's just because I haven't tried the right one yet.

I imagine the Bowmore 30 yo is exquisite, have to try and get a taste of that sometime, although I imagine it's even more out my price range than the 25 yo (I'm a student after all). Have to look out for that Auchentoshan 21 yo (I believe the word you were looking for is "chief (sometimes "master") distiller"), the 10 yo is quite nice although the Lowlands aren't my favorite region.

Aged tequila: last new years eve i drank Tequila reposado with my brother in law in between glasses of red wine...not a smart thing to do but eh! He was sick i was ok.

The bowmore 30 is about the same price as the 25.

Cognacs i like the expensive stuff, like Martell blue or most XO's. Not because i'm snob like my wife says it's just like anything alse, once you've tasted the best ... you can't go back.

How about Port wines? So far i have two which are my all time favorite : Warre's Otima 10 yo tawny (about 17$ can) and Warre's Coleitha 1972 (about 125$ can).
