Why Fallout New Vegas is the high point of the franchise

I think New Vegas is the high point in the franchise when it comes to the fanbase and marketing without having to sacrifice itself of its RPG elements and mechanics. If you loved Fallout 1 and 2 and hated 3 you could probably find something in New Vegas that you liked a lot. And if you disliked or just didn't play Fallout 1 and 2, you could come to New Vegas and feel right at home still. Bethesda's Fallout titles only divided the fans, especially Fallout 4. I definitely think NV is the high point but it's still not my favorite Fallout game. The original Fallout is still number one for me.
