    Err... Are you sure, that you need some "special for Vista" version? There always some issues with administrator rights and such, so before any solid answers i would be grateful for info: what problem you get? Can't you install or play normal installation of FT?

    Not that i know exact solution, but there's alternate way: just use arrow pad. I found it to be quite useful and fast.

    Yeah, because you have to start this process again from the very beginning. And no side editors, just create character in normal way. Usually, at start of generating char, you have all stats at 5, and free 5 points to spend. With Gifted you gain all stats at 6 and still only free 5 points...

    So now Alien Blaster will be more common than 14mm Auto Pistol? :| Blaster is rare enough for its damage, so i never got problems with it appearance in game. On other hand, you didn't reduced chance to find 14mm Auto Pistol even before mid-game. Or did you?

    Man, even considering rarity of this baby, you made it TOO powerful. Even lowered range won't nerf it - as there's no more hurt in close combat, where you can kill some-one with one shot. Person with ST7, AG10, PE8 and LK6-10 (Gifted+F.Shot/Finesse) will pawn anyone, not covered with PA

    M14 as starting weapon, seriously? =)))) Well, if you want some decent replace for this, use something like P14 Enfield - quite accurate, through lacks damage and range. This would be indeed good starting weapon $)

    Change of weapons itself isn't that bad. Actally, i'm trying something similar in Fo:T. But there i ran into problem with engine limit of weapon range. Through i can set range to whatever i want, game seems to not use anything above 100 points. Did you test new ranges? (At least 80-100 hexes)

    Would be nice, if EN>=6 added some DT against all damage (let's say +2 for every point of EN above 5, so with EN=10 we gain +8 to every DT). Heal rate increase for EN>6 would be nice as well. Also, i don't know if EN currently affects chance to be knocked down or get maimed... But would...
