Your mod is GREAT, really awesome, great job.
just one thing, I don't really like the whole character styling thing in the character creation, and I noticed the stats are different as well, how do I get the old character creation the way it was before?
BTW when is 2.1 gonna come out? cuz I've been playing with 1.2 all this time and just upgraded to 2.0 today, but if it comes out in a matter of days I might as well wait for it.

That would be the appearance mod. You can choose to install it or not in the installer. Maybe not in 2.0, but definitely in 2.1.

Uh, really? They shouldn't be different at all. The only difference should be a section devoted to displaying what your character looks like.

I'm still shooting for a June release, so it should be very soon. Alas, it's a bit busy in RL right now...
 
Oh, and one other thing. While I do have the appearance mod- it seems moving the Race button arrows doesn't do anything (I come from a long line of default generic dudes) and the style just gives 1 style of hair (long). I have a clean setup, deletied all and everything fallout before I installed your new restoration project.

There is really only 1 new appearance (long hair dude). It's extremely time consuming to make them, but hopefully more will make their way into the RP.

And yeah, I believe I set the appearance mod to be on by default in 2.0. You can easily disable it in the ddraw.ini file. It will be an installer choice in RP 2.1

That means the hair style/gender changing machine in EPA will work only partially if we disable the appearance mod?

Hi, I'm having problems with the automatic installer. I recieve an error message saying the the setup files are incorrect (along those lines). I downloaded it from your signature. Windows 7. I ended up just using manual installation. Thought I would report it.
 
This is my idea as to how the red head should be…maybe the hair can be slightly darker. But building the complete animation cycle for her would be a very arduous task, so don’t expect her any time soon. :look:

I'm having a couple of issues in Broken Hills. I'm running 2.0.2e (confirmed by looking at the stone at the Temple), but I'm still getting the Francis crashing bug and the inability to complete the missing people mission. I solved the Francis error by downloading a script earlier in this thread but I can't get either Marcus or Dan to react to my discovery of the bodies.

These are unique armor appearances for the followers you can get. Several members here did an amazing job creating them. Since they are not officially intended, they are part of the extras section of the installer. Basically, everything in the extras section is stuff not originally intended, but makes things much better. You don't have to install any of them. Do install the resolution patch though, as it is needed for several of the maps. You can still play at 640x480 if you so desire.

EDIT: If you're still deciding whether to play, I'd suggest holding off for about 2 weeks. 2.1 should be out by then and fixes many important bugs.

Hi,
I just arrived in modoc and when I talk to davin in order to make love
with him, I got black screen... It's the first time I fuck him so I don't know if it's due to rp or the game itself.

If you have already found the bodies before getting the fix, you will need to go down the tunnels and find them again. Then it will work.

It's a map error and it's fixed for RP 2.1.

If your like me you exposed the chemist. That lead to Marcus not realizing that i had found the bodies. Hell, even the letter i got the letter and showed to Francis. Thing disappeared after talking to Francis.

Found some more bugs... will be uploading the saves where i have bugs to rapidshare. Obviously my save slot 10 pretains to the aforementioned bug that Captain Space and I have.

Save slot nine is in regards to an advanced power armor bug i ran into while doing the professors perception test... PE 10 and still failed lol. Took the armor off and it worked fine.

Save slot five is in regards to the schizophrenic flamethrower damage that I ran into at Bishops casino.

Lastly, the NPC armor change is not working; Sulik and the others do not "equip" the new armor on their sprites anymore. It was working fine, but it is no longer at this point. Save 9 and 10 have this bug.

On a side note, I know the game is depraved and gory, but it does not have the level of sexuality that animated prostitution for Fallout 3 does. It would be nice to see a "no nudie posters" option; my bro plays all sorts of violent video games, but if the parental units ever saw him with the posters in game, they'd have a conniption fit. Thanks.

Edit: I am using other mods as well. They are:

Fallout 2 Market Booster, RP2 Miria, Miria F2RPv20, sfall version 2.9, Party Orders add on version 1.0d.

I fully understand where you're coming from, but making the posters an option means having two sets of maps - not something I want to do. However, I've gone over the maps and removed some of the posters. Now, they are only found at brothels and other depraved locations. Once 2.1 is released, comments are welcome whether the posters do in fact fit where they are at.

Just my opinion, but if your brother is at an age where your parents would have a "conniption fit" on seeing "nudie posters", then he probably is too young to be playing the game. I know I wouldn't recommend my 12 and 14 year old cousins playing it, though of course I can't force them not to play.

Then again, you get 9-12 year olds playing games like Grand Theft Auto and Mortal Kombat series despite the vaunted ESRB rating system, so maybe it's all irrelevant anyway. :P
