Fallout 3 pirated, videos spread

There are bigger discrepancies between the in-game deathclaw in FO1 (based on the clay model) and the deathclaw in the FO1 manual than between FO1 and FO3 in-game ones.

Frankly the barely coherent potheads who managed to groupthink their way through mutilating cows and posting it on youtube could probably write a better ending than the ridiculous tripe foisted on us by Bethesda.

It is truly and utterly dissapointing that their best effort to give more than Oblivion with Guns was to recycle the Oblivion ending.

The good thing about having read the spoilers is it saves you from any crushed hope playing the game and anything you might possibly enjoy while playing up to that point is at least a plus rather than a surprising moment of painful gutwrenching nausea at the end that leads you vomit into your collector's edition lunchbox refilling it suitibly compared to what you took out.

I have a question for those that have seen most of the game ...

[spoiler:06313b360b]How does one fight that big robot i saw in pictures with melee weapons ? [/spoiler:06313b360b]

Even if I've read the spoliers (and I have) I would still want to play the game.
Reading it or watching it is not like playing it by yourself.

[spoiler:dca3778571]From what I've seen, the robot is ON YOUR SIDE. If anyone knows if it eventually turns against the PC and the BOS team, please tell[/spoiler:dca3778571]

Well, a complete overhaul is out of question, but touching up of the AI and the current combat could have happened.

Just like the other person said, they dont really have time to do any major changes between the review copy and the gold copy.
Maybe changing some minor glitches/bugs.
Trying to fix the AI and/or combat system, would take a lot of time, which they didnt have ( by the looks of the videos that would take weeks/months to fix :D ).

As for the game it self, ill probably play it, just to try it out to see if its really as bad as Oblivion was ( since there is no way you can compare it to the orginal Fallout games ). Will i acualy go out and buy it ? No.

A question to those who know more about FO3's plot

[spoiler:0dba8222f8]That big robot that helps you and the BOS to get into a sealed of section of DC, it would not happen to be the technological marvel that Lyons found under the Pentagon right?
Because if so it opens an obvious question; how the hell is a giant robot suppose to rebuild the Brotherhood of Steel?[/spoiler:0dba8222f8]

The Voice acting was so bad that I couldn't even fully watch those leaked videos...
They even used the same voice actors from Oblivion! I think I should go drown in a bucket or something...

It has a dragon? Cool!
:P
Still yet to find the write ups of the plot. Might have a look see so I can join in of the mocking.

No, it's often worse.

I'm going to play it and hope for some redeeming moments, though if not for my odd desire for that lunch box it'd be a rental, but odds are it'll be even more painful going slowly through it at my own pace rather than watching some violent teenager in his parent's basement mashing buttons to get through dialog as fast as possible so he can bludgeon domestic animals to death with sledgehammers.

Hello Mane,

I am actually going to try the game because there is NOTHING ELSE being released on the moment that interests me!

Half Life 2 Episode 3 has been delayed to who knows how long.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is delayed to February.

Bionic Commando has been delayed as well, don't even know if it is any good.

Dead Space looks like an Aliens and Run Like Hell rip off.

This is the sad state of PC gaming for me, actually playing mediocre games because there is nothing better.

I'm currently looking forward to Mafia 2 way more than Fallout 3. Shit, even Far Cry 2 interests me more by now. At least it will have a decent FPS combat.
Though I'm not pretending I'm not going to play Fallout 3 once it's out. I will, but I'm not sure I'll even finish it once.

Holy shit, they recycled the voice actors?!! The horror!

Man I'll have bad deja vu moments when I play Fallout 3, especially since I've played Oblivion before... And have all the voice actor's voices imprinted in my brain.

Erm, did they (re)use the Dark Brotherhood Dude's voice? He's not bad...

Well, Dead Space looks like a pretty good rip-off to me. Although, I've never played either game its ripped off from... :?

He is also the guy who did every Imperial in the game (sans Emporer and Martin) as well as Sheogorath (his accent slips sometimes which was when I noticed it) so his voice is severly imbedded in my mind.

Saying that I think he is only doing Burke in Fallout 3.

...phooey Ausir beat me to it.

The leaked videos (and no, Im not supporting piracy or advocating it, i'm just as curious as the next guy or girl) pretty much showed the areas we have been seeing in the official videos. The combat, to me, seems, horrendous, the dialogue options even worse, and the voice actor for Moira is terrible.

I agree that the previous games had grasped the idea of the vast opnenness much better since you there could go for days or so it seemed without meeting anyone. Here it just seems like everything is crammed together so that there is action, action and utter action all the time. And by action I mean you shoot people or monsters a lot...

The only thing that's looking good, to me, are the buildings and the world destruction...
