The Holocaust in the Crimea and the North Caucasus has a methodical format. Following a brief history and ethnography, Feferman discusses the flow of refugees into the regions and eventual evacuation from the front. He argues that 38 to 47 percent of the Crimean and 40 to 50 percent of the North Caucasian Jewish population evacuated before the German military secured the region. From there, Feferman examines registration, forced labor, and the killing operations. In addition to division in the Crimea–North Caucasus activities, Feferman highlights the urban-rural distinction and relations between EG D and the regular army. He also discusses mixed-family policy and "exemptions" made for the medical field. According to his estimates, German forces killed thirty thousand to thirty-five thousand Jews in Crimea and thirty-five thousand to forty thousand in the North Caucasus.

You're right actually, I forgot to mention the Nazi-german and collaborationist war crimes and genocide in the east, good point. I only brought up the genocide committed by Soviet authorities as I was specifically focusing on Russia.

Plot twist: Russians crossed the border 6 months after americans decided to pick a side in a civil war.
We made sure that well before the Russian aggression happened, starting in September — the Russian aggression happened in February — starting in September, and then again in December, we quietly got a lot of weapons to Ukraine to make sure that they had in hand what they needed to defend themselves. Things like Stingers, Javelins that they could use that were instrumental in preventing Russia from taking Kyiv from rolling over the country, erasing it from the map and indeed pushing the Russians back.
Do you know who would be on the receiving end of those shiny new weapons if the russian army didnt intervene?
 
A civil war doesn't become American, just because Americans take note of it; the Russo Ukrainian conflict was bound to become international, because they represent a large scale war, and obviously - OBVIOUSLY every single country also threatened by Russia is going to side with Ukraine, that is a no-brainer.

Norway is routinely threatened by Russia, Sweden is, Finland is, Denmark is (if you wonder why Denmark would be threatened by Russia, then that really is a you problem, stfu and go find it out) all the Baltics states are routinely threatened by Russia, Poland is, Moldova is, Romania is, the only country not threatened is Belarus (a puppet state, the civ. pop. are threatened were they to rebel) and Seeerbia.

And I do absolutely not care about the "well, Russia is surrounded by all those countries" because every country on earth is next to another country on earth.

There is a reason Cuba is stuck in the 50's, and that is entirely because they are on our border. We averted WWIII by embargoing them so hard that they can't progress at all. Now let's take a hypothetical that Rooskies build a full AFB in Cuba. Do you think the U.S. would not use direct force in that situation? Do you see the double standard here?

What specific threats was Russia making to those countries Zegh? Threats of force? Hmm... I know of another country that does the same exact thing all over the globe. Again, double standards.
