I would really like to know why the canceled the game. I know that they want to put all there resources into the consol market. You think they could have just finnished this game, and made some retun on it. They have already wasted anough money on canceling three games ( Fo3 and Jefferson, Torn ) did I get that right? I think FO3 would have had a chance to make some money. It may have not been a Huge succsess, but more so then Fallout - BOS will probably be.
Why dont they relize that you cannot just slap a lable onto somehting and think it will sell just because of the name. Yes Fallout is well known, but probably mostly by the Computer Gamer market. And yes there is some overlap of the two types of consumers, but Im thinking mostly older people, not thoes between 10 - 18. Fallout was relased in 97, FO2 in 98, most people who might possible play BOS probably have not played FO1/2 because that game is (at leat what I think) being targeted at a younger group 14 - 18 maybe? My point is, the two markets are different. The name is probably going to have very little effect on the buying habits of the people who may purchase this game (BOS). The types of games are so different RPG vs Kill stuff?? I would think gamers who are interested in mindlessly shooting things, do not have as much interest in serious RPG games. ( I do, but I was introduced to both types of games at the same time, I will not play BOS however )
If they want to make money off of names alone, go get the rights to a movie name. Look at the Matrix, it was spose to be an awful game, but sold tons! ( didn't interplay sell of that game )
I guess im just rammbeling, im just pissed!
Why the hell are they making that shity POS game! It will probably make money though, I bet they didn't spend too much on it. In the end they will try and pump out low cost shity games untill they go under!
They should change there logo to
By Assholes for Profit!
Well back to studying Economics lol.
