what is your favorite unique weapon in Fallout New Vegas?

If I had to pick a favorite weapon it would be "thump thump'' which is a high damage weapon(depending on how high your explosives are) and can be a lot of fun and really helpful when having to deal with Caesar's legion.
 
I rather like the Tesla-Beaton prototype. It might not be the fastest or most efficient gun in the mojave, but I find having a means of discharging bolts of pure "fuck you" and disintegrating even the mightiest of foes to be incredibly satisfying. GO ALL ZEUS ON THE LEGION'S SORRY ARSE!

If only it wasn't so damn expensive to use.
 
Definitely Greased Lightning. I love spamming punches like I'm Star Platinum with speed boosts active, and a GR-X implant running concurrently with turbo to add the Za Warudo effect. (This works too: ). It's a legit god mode along with the Compliance Regulator and any build, or a stealth setup with the COS rifle. No console commands needed. I guess I like breaking games. Mercy (always while wearing Remnants power armor) and Mobius' Glove are also hilariously fun.
 
Medicine stick. 4 reasons:

1) it's ABSURDATELY accurate. I do mods and have tried for about 3 days to reproduce the accuracy of this weapon for the hunting rifle. Unsuccessfully.

2) 45-70 is my favorite ammo.

3 and 4) It's not silence and dont have scope. A weapon for a real man.

I also have to make a special mention to Ulysses' staff. With this thing and the correct build, I'm pretty sure you can kill any enemy this game has in one single blow.
 
Hm, it's hard to say which is my actual favourite to be honest. But the unique weapon that I use the most compared to its normal counterpart is A Light In Shining Darkness. I don't use uniques that are purchased from stores (not because they cost money, I just like the ones you find more) and also This Machine is one of my most-used weapons. I do tend to use some other ones that I find along the way since they count to 100% and until I store them in Novac, I use them for fun.

Holy shit somehow I forgot about that weapon. Well, I actually used that a lot on my NCR 100% character but barely did on my Independent 100% character. That's a really good unique weapon that I totally forgot about, thank you for reminding me.
 
Hard to say, there are so many of them. I think my favourite one is Old Glory. Almost one shooting Lanius with vats and a crit is too good to pass up
 
Massive fan of Ratslayer, it's sleek, cool and good for a sneaky character. Including DLC, I gotta say Lil' Devil. Such a good and cool looking gun, nice design and works well.
 
Oh, Baby! is one of my favorites. Sending Deathclaws flying through the air is hilarious.
 
I always find I have a personal attachment to the Broad Machete and the Weathered 10mm Pistol. I know they are beginning weapons, but they just feel right while your Courier is traveling the Mojave in the early levels. I have a tough time letting them go when I need to upgrade.

Survivalists Rifle with hand load ammo is a beast vs enemies with no DT. And the All-American marksman carbine is another personal favourite.
 
With WMX installed and on a crit build it's either the Paciencia or the Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle for me. The latter silently pops heads while the former has the same crit damage as an AMR, murdering just about anything from a safe distance.

Without WMX those aren't as good, since the Paciencia cannot have a scope and the ironsights are misaligned while the GCSR doesn't fit a silencer, making Cristine's COS Rifle the better choice.

Other than that, the Ratslayer is great up to the midgame because of the constant silent crits and Blood-Nap is a great looking knife which deals tons of damage.
