what is your favorite unique weapon in Fallout New Vegas?

I can't live without jury rigging. It's the primary perk I'm leveling up for first / in a way that I can hit it at lvl 14 when it becomes available.
oh yea i always run jury rigging because literally why wouldnt you invest in repair

I invest to 70 because hand loader.

A world without my trusty special ammunitions is a world in which I don´t want to live.

Don´t care too much for JR since Dead Money´s release. But a char with low luck (I only have one like this) should pick this perk.

Special = ridiculously good to the point of out-shooting any other subtype practically in the case of JSP, Match and SWC loads. .45-70SWC is nuts. Makes gun degrade faster? Who cares when you have dozens of repair kits or JR? 5mm JSP is absolutely fucking insane in something like a CZ57. -10 enemy DT AND damage x1.3 in the CZ57? Fuck sake man.

I often avoid jury rigging because I often find that I repair something with another item I didn't want to repair it with. Like repairing a shotgun with an AMR, or a pair of goggles with a power armor helmet.

Not unless you save scum like me. c:

this reminds me of when i used to play fallout 3 and would always use the silenced 10mm you get from killing that one guy accidentally to repair some worthless 10mm

Unarned:
Love and Hate: I don't use unarmed often but these are easy to get and got quite a lot of uses early on.

Melee
Knock-Knock: You can get it early and it has low requirements and deals a good ammount of damage.
Oh, Baby!: Being able to stun a deathclaw with your first hit and deal a lot of damage? Yes please.
Chance's knife: I don't get the love people have for it, Sure it got great damage with all the perks but it breaks quite fast and it has short range.

Rifle
All-American: Used it a lot when i first started playing but now a days not so much. A good gun straight out of the box but i got a different setup in mind.
Medicine Stick: With hand loaded rounds this is probably my most used weapon in the game.

Not used but worth mentioning:
This Machine: Looks good but as my second slot is usually filled with Medicine Stick by the time i arrive at the strip this weapon is not really much use for me.
Paciencia: I tend to get a hunting rifle early and with mods it works great as a sniper, I tend to arrive at Novac later in the game so this is out of the way for me and no scope.

SMG
Sleepytyme: I only use it as an holdout weapons for a few quests and challenges. Still worth it! Was actually thinking of using it permanently after my last run.

Big guns.
CZ57 Avenger: I never use big guns in the newer fallout games but this one was fun to use randomly once i found out i had put my shotgun away and had no other gun to clear out a lot of weak enemies with.

Energy
Euclid's C-Finder: For the LULS.
Holorifle: I don't care much for energy weapons but i did use it without perks and <50 energy skill a few days ago and it still did really well. I'm impressed.
YCS/186: If i ever go energy weapons in NV this will be my sniper and the Holo would be my medium range gun.

Explosives
Annabelle: A straight upgrade vs the normal rocket launcher. What is there to discuss?

Anabelle.

Late game I can use anything to withstand the Legions assassin squads, but early in the game only Anabelle could save me.

Legion killteams are rough early on. Annabelle is a good choice, as is Esther (if you can afford it - clean the casinos out first maybe). I find that with Boone and ED-E tagging along I can usually manage to survive killteams with surprisingly light firepower (managed it with a Cowboy Repeater once)

If I had to pick a favorite weapon it would be "thump thump'' which is a high damage weapon(depending on how high your explosives are) and can be a lot of fun and really helpful when having to deal with Caesar's legion.
Oh Baby, the most OP melee weapon in the game

Yeah, Lily Bowen is not necessarily the BEST follower but if you're melee her and Rex make good companions. I'm not sure if Lily can use the PI axe but that would probably work well for her too. Knock-Knock might be a good choice as well, not sure if she can use.

Yeah, I'll have to try it out on my next playthrough

Hmmm. My picks would probably be:

-Two-Step Goodbye. Synergizes very well with Legion Assault and a x4 crit multiplier makes it very easy to trigger its crit explosion
-YCS/186. "Holy sneak crits, Batman!"
-Cleansing Flame. Every time I draw this weapon, I will say out loud "The Black Hand has arrived"
-Chopper. Not a great weapon all things considered, but it just looks so perfect on my Cannibal character

From non-unique weapons, I actually just use the scoped trail carbine. Love it in any situation.

I find myself prefering the non-unique versions of some weapons, even if the unique version is objectively better. Some examples are the Light Machine Gun, Hunting Shotgun, Gattling Laser and Power Fist

Anybody else appreciate the fact that unique laser weapons in New Vegas use green beams instead of red? It checks out since in real life green light has a 100 nanometer shorter wavelength than red. Higher frequency = more energy and MOAR DAMAGE.
