Killap's Unofficial Fallout 2 Patch
Fallout 2 Restoration Project
MIB88 MegaMod
(in that order)
are they going to work together, and if not, what mod is in conflict with witch?
tnx in advanced

Killap's Restoration Project and the MegaMod don't work together. You'll have to choose one or the other.

If you want a mod go for Fallout 2 Restoration Project. All the patches are included.
I can also recommend the Fallout2 High Resolution Patch 1.9. This one is to be installed after the RP.
ok thanks...
just one more question, using this "Restoration Project" that you told me, the gameplay change from the oringinal FO2 gameplay?? maybe i need to play without Restoration Project and then play it with...
or just put the 1.05 patch, the restoration mod and the higher res patch and play happy???

Indeed marcos, ignore Darek's advice: The Restoration Project is best saved for a second playthrough, not for your first one.

For the first one, use killap's patch which includes all fixes. Don't use 1.05, it's outdated. Install the high res patch after killap's patch if you feel the need.

Ignore, huh.
I simply answered the question that was asked. It's not up to me to decide for others what to use and when to use it.

ok ok...
i don't want you to fight...
you need to know that you are mods of the best fallout related forum of all the world and really help people like me...
i will play with the killap patch and res patch for the first time...
and then for the second will use the restoration mod...
thank you very very much both of you...

Looking through some of these posts, I think I found the answers to my questions and will try some of these patches and mods.

Thank you!

Hi guys I am about to start first fallout and I was searchin for fallout patches and mods. Then I found on this forum's download page but I don't know how can I do and how order .İs Fallout Update Mod v1.2.5 is compatible with v1.2 and the other Avega's beta 1.3 patch and TeAm X 1.3.x patches at the same time. I want to ask this question too

I want to add engine tweak and npc mod v3.x on my fallout directory how about them , are they compatible with fallout mod 1.2.5 an the others above.I am very very confused so can you help me if you understand what I said.

Does these:

Fallout2 Resolution Patch v1.6
MIB88 MegaMod 2.34
Timeslip Fallout 2 engine tweaks for Windows 2000/XP/Vista

Work with the latest Killap's Unofficial Fallout 2 Patch???

hi everyone...i know there's a mod exists and its called Klint The Generous, he gives all items from the start...but most rare and unique are Horrigans armor and BLack Hole items...but problem is i'm playing MIB88 megamod and it doesnt work or work incorrect withthis Klint mod, is there standalone mod for Black Hole ? ...i know there's two or three mods for horrigans armor, but they're not make a justice as those Horrigans armor that Klint gives has all ressistances 50/90...so i wonder is there a mod for Horrigans armor, which would have the exact stats as those one, that Klint the generous gives ? ...i especially interested in Black Hole mod as stand alone, for those ones who doesnt really understand what this item does...well its just gives you -9999 weight in your inventory, which makes the game think, that you havent got any item until you finally get above "0" weight, and then your weight begins to count as positive, so in another words you, just to make things clear - it gives you +9999 weight everytime you get black hole + your original weight limit (depends on your strenght), but you can get just as much of those black holes items from Klint as you want, but it is really takes a lot of time LOL...

Resolution patch works fine.

Timeslip's tweaks are included in it already as far as I know.

And I'm pretty sure the MegaMod is not compatible with it.

What about MIB88 Megamod and the Finesse 'Weapons' mod?

I tried it before, and it corrupted the new items that were installed by the Megamod. Maybe I just installed it wrong, or they could just be incompatible?

Okay, I've actually read through quite a bit of this thread, and didn't quite find the answer I was looking for. So I will ask.

I'm running Vista 64-bit SP1, I own the GOG.com versions of Fallout 1/2. I want to play a bug free version of the games with cut content put pack in to each game. I do not want to play a tweaked out version of the game where it's totally changed. From what I have read I should use:

Fallout:
Team X Patch 1.3.4
Resolution Patch 1.3
Timeslip Tweaks for Vista 1.18e

Fallout 2:
Restoration Project 1.3 (when it's released)
Resolution Patch 1.9a
Timeslip Tweaks for Vista 1.29d

Basically I'm asking, will these fill my needs? Or am I missing something, or do I have something wrong. Is there anything I am missing? Do I need any official patches.

Thanks ahead of time.

Fallout:
Team X Patch 1.3.4
WRONG

Fallout:
TeamX Patch 1.2
TeamX Patch 1.3.4
RIGHT

But still those patches were not tested with the GOG version. Especially under Vista 64-bit. :) If you are certain about the installation, I would like to know the result.
And If you do not want extra tweaks for the game at all, HiRes patch and Sfall are definitely are out of the list.
