"The development of Metro Exodus is progressing well; we are all really excited by what we are seeing. We have been constantly reviewing the games progress to ensure that we deliver a product that gamers and fans of the Metro series want and deserve, as well as keeping an eye on announcements from our competitor products. We want everyone to be able to experience what is the most ambitious Metro game to date at its...
Chris Avellone said:To give a little more detail on the financial issues raised shortly before (and then after) the departure:
Note the financial issues were only part of the discussion points, and we did continue to debate them after the departure. They amounted to:
- I asked about making the company’s finances more transparent, since those were often a mystery. This lack of clarity also interfered with the review process (in short, you can’t do reviews and give raises until finances are in order, and we always got held up on that as part...
Wanting to preempt such issues, the Capital Wasteland team got in contact with Bethesda, seeking official blessing for such a move. Unfortunately, the studio weren’t willing or able to offer such support. With little option beyond assembling a massive voice cast of their own, they’re officially calling it quits on the project after a full year in development, although there may yet still be some hope for it.
Welcome to Atlanta. The trading hub of the south and one of the 'must visit cites' in post-apocalyptic america 2280........
There's plenty to see and there plenty to do in one of Americas culturally rich cites. Explore the likes of The world of Nuka Cola and the Super Duper theme park. Take a trip to the memorial park or even take a boat ride down the Chattahoochee River. You won't struggle for a place to stay either, with rooms available at peach tree towers and The Marquis Hotel. Wondering how to get here ? With two Airports located just outside the city, Atlanta international airport and Fulton county Airport, you can fly right into the action. Live more local or fancy a road trip ? Atlanta is severed with...
Four years ago I began a journey.
On Feb 5 2014 I posted the results of the RPG Codex’s Top 70 poll, in which we elected the best CRPGs of all time. But I felt that a simple list was too dry… more than the ranking, I was interested in WHY these games were good. From there came the idea of asking people to write a short paragraph talking about each title.
This became a updated version of the Codex’s Top...
Twenty-five years have passed since The Awakening – a catastrophic event in which an artificial intelligence called the Mainframe has gone rogue and turned it´s robotic armies against all other lifeforms on Earth.
We barely won the war at a great cost. Ninety-five percent of the population have perished in the global conflict. From the embers of war various gangs and factions arose. Today they fight violently for survival and dominance – like humans always have, and like they always will.
And now the time has come for you and your friends to get rekt while fighting against each other, other teams, or the Evil Computer in Cooperative mode.

Yes, I'm developing Fallout: Sorona for a year so far. But I didn't quite had a time for press-release since a good visual base is required for that, which is left for last development stage (first goes scripting, writing, then graphics). News article is planned with poster and intro video, which are not quite ready yet.
Everything was revisioned. From weapon arsenal to cultural connotations. I had to do extensive research job - watch hundreds of old Hollywood...
Another month, another update!
September went pretty well! Most of the month has been spent more on fixing bugs and audio issues, and coding the main quest, rather than creative art issues so there will be less pretty new pictures and videos this time around.
Also because the in-game ending videos I'm making are super spoilers now, and I wouldn't want to show them, but they will likely take at least a month or more to make. So that means between now and November i will probably go a bit dark, maybe only posting a few images of non-spoiler end game assets. Since we are now developing largely at the end of the mod it gets hard to show fun...
Here's the article:But youth and ambition translated into energy. Practically everyone at Black Isle was a workaholic. "I remember people loved working on games. Maybe not every single person but overall the feeling was that people wanted to work hard," Sawyer says. "We never had required overtime but people were there all the time. Not that everyone was exactly like me, but we all really just wanted to make cool games, and we were in our 20s."
Fallout: New California has been in development for almost eight years, started in October 2009. Radian-Helix released several short beta versions in 2013 but nothing since. But back in June, they showed a two-hour, five-part look at its then-current alpha state. Here, this starts with a brief recap and coos at how much prettier parts have become over the years, then launches into gameplay.
Wasteland Express Delivery Service is a new board game from Pandasaurus, designed by Jon Gilmour (Dead of Winter), Matt Riddle (Fleet, Back to the Future) and Ben Pinchback (Fleet, Back to the Future). It pits 2-5 players against each other as couriers in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, each racing across the scorched landscape in an attempt to complete assignments faster than their opponents.
This total transformation mod aims to bring to life an anarchist utopia after apocalyptic times. It takes place in eastern part of former Canada and United-States. The game is a bilingual (french & english) single player non-linear RPG. It can be called a positive...
