I have a 'lil bit funny problem. :>

When I try to save the game, I get the message that it's impossible to save the game. Someone has a clue, why that is?

Well, upload your savegame and Killap will have a look

No seriously, guys had this problem because they installed RP into Program Files folder.

I've installed it in a extra folder of a not-C partition. So it's not in Program Files.

There was a crash involving missing a shot and then suddenly getting a black screen crash. Was there anything like that fixed?

This, also I can't seem to get this working with a manual install and the multiple mod guide on the fallout mods wiki. Since this is meant for a fresh install of Fallout 2, may I presume there's no way around this?

Quoting myself here so that those in the know don't skip me over. :D

Lexx's method is superior:

I am currently running a few different mods like this.

I experienced the Navarro bug just a moment ago which was after the fix was posted but can anyone tell me what happens if you go underground and slaughter the whole bunch cause I did that and I won't be going on in a while. Does anyone know where the gas mask is? and the new graphics are just brilliant (the turbines at the EPA, really caught my eye).

Game crashes everytime I try to enter that vault city part where Lynette is.

Are you using the day pass?

I turned in Skeeve, and recieved my day pass, and the game crashes whenever I try to zone out of this part of the area, whether it be to the north or south. Had no problems before getting the day pass though.

On another note, after completing the orphanage quest by talking to the kid that starts it again, I went and talked to mom, then went back to the residential area to buy some jet. When I got there, the orphanage had reverted, the kid and his dad had disappeared, and the drug dealer had disappeared. This was also after helping Lara take out Tyler's gang.

EDIT: used 2.0.2b auto install, and applied navaro script fix. On win xp.

Can someone send me or post, please, a link to RP 2.0.2b, because I can't find it in this mess. I tried downloading everything I saw, but all I got so far is it says 2.0.2 when I install.

Look on the first post. Click on the green name to download. The actual file for the installer just says "F2_Restoration_Project_2.0" even though it installs 2.0.2b. Start a new game and look at the stone thats between Klint and the exit to see the version number.

Thank you, it helped me very much, it all runs good now.

I just looked how you guys changed EPA and I am shocked! It is something unbelievable fantastic! I f* love this stuff so much

yea EPA is nicer.. but i am stuck.. cant use the rope on the air vent like before... ANYONE CAN HELP ME WITH EPA?

i kinda feel cheated, cause I set my agility at 9, thinking the "Doctor" from EPA F2RP1.2 will reward me later with +1agility+1perception.. boy was i mistaken...

giant plants was kinda cheesy scary but refreshing.. reminded me of "little shop of horror", maybe it could be rename as of Audrey II, an evil and profane flytrap-like extraterrestrial plant with plans to take over the world.

Found another bug in broken hills.

If i accept to let Francis go after showing him the letter found on the dead woman underground, the game crashes to desktop. If i choose to kill him, the fight starts normally.

Already posted it on the wiki.

Bearded guy with glasses?

What's with the fallout.exe icon appearing as a photograph of a bearded head with glasses? The small icon is the normal Vault Boy icon, but the larger version of the icon that is called when I create a shortcut on my desktop is someone who looks like Newman from Seinfeld.

I never saw that before; is it something that was done in the RP2.0?

(FWIW, I'm running Windows 7 x64, whereas my prior play-throughs of Fallout were under WinXP and, presumably, Win98).

EDIT: Fixed by setting compatability mode to Vista Service Pack 2

Ok, I'm getting a similar error to one earlier in the thread but the solution posted didn't work.

I'm running Win 7 x64 on a quad core with dual monitors.

I make a fresh install of FO2, (run it and it plays fine), install the RP, run, watch the intro videos (sometimes in the right colour but occasionally with graphical errors) and get this error.

Now I first installed FO2 to a different directory, no dice. I install the latest version of DirectX, that didn't fix it. I install in the normal directory: c:\programs files\black isle ... but this didn't solve the problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

(should be noted that my fresh install is only to v1.01 of FO2 or the like; I try to run the official patcher but it says its not compatible with a 64bit system :S. However, on installing the RP it updates to v1.20 no problem (for however brief i can see the menu screen)

Nope, that icon has always been there. Even comes straight off the 1.02 install disk.
