Well, it was an older version so some of the bad animating and stuff like that... I didn't feel like highlighting it.
But more importantly, the NPCs I saw in that gameplay demo were James (dad), sheriff Burke and Mr Burke. Not excellent voice-acting but not nearly as bad as some of what we've seen here.
Also, I was madly scribbling notes at the time. So not always staring dead at the odd animations.
Not just that, apparently she stays there and offers to repair your weapons for you or barter with you when you drop by again.

EA is retarded. Normal Human Logic dictates that when X method does not work, you try Y method. If Y method fails, you try the Z method. EA method? Let's try X. Again. And Again. AAAAAAND again. Pirates can play the game in peace in the short space of some days. The buying consumers? They are BUTT-RAPPED with DRM, SecuROM and online registration before playing. Real smooth.
Bethesda's Piracy policy ins't bad, though. They pretty much accepted the truth already: DRM and SecuRom DO NOT WORK. It's like that guy whose punishment in Hades is carrying a big rock though a hill, and just as he's reaching the summit, he falls and has to start again. Forever.

It's happened before in the music business and contrary to what one would seem to think, it works wonders. Radiohead's "Amnesiac" was leaked and still sold almost as good as "Kid A".
It is extra publicity, you know? And the amount of pirated copies is usually only a few thousands. That's a small price to pay for mucho publicity and attention.
