Gamespot Gameplay Video is Up

I see all the little gripes and minor issues being brought up that I agree with, but on the whole this looks a lot less disappointing than I first assumed.

I am actually getting a little excited to play it.

I think it'll be a lot like what Bioshock was to Shock/2.

Hardcore fans are going to hate that they gutted (console-ized) many aspects of the game, while newcomers aren't going to give a shit about anything besides the sparkly graphics and exploding bodyparts. To them its nothing more than another shooter with uberkool orcs, robots, and zombies running around.

I'm sure the game won't be TERRIBLE though, probably around a 6.5/10.

your precisely, concisely correct!

however... all the errors anomalies and bugs and untaken opportunities will really offer some good mods. if your gonna get the game, get it on pc for sure.

Eh, I would recommend waiting a few months for first the price drop and then any announcement of mod tools. Then maybe see if mods are even able to fix some of the more blatant problems. Although since you may be able to make kids killable with mods tools they may not release them after all (I can just see the headlines in CNN now if such a mod was made plus the possibility of rerating and banning).

Hell, along those lines, the worst problem I had with Oblivion (before I returned it) were the quest especially a few of the beginning ones having 1 outcome. Even a months after I returned the game there had yet to be mods to fix this because while this was a fixable problem in theory, in practice the way the game was made, made a fix nearly impossible. The horse issue too took forever to fix (if it actually was I have long since stopped visiting the forums).

Even then, I don't know if mods could fix the tediousness of combat or create more pacifistic encounters or any of a number of gameplay problems. I'll leave off that on the flip side these problems may not exist but I will be waiting for reviews before I even consider getting this game as well as a price drop (or maybe borrow from a friend).

i had finally a chance to take a look at the gameplay videos.(i am currently in the old land and boy ... does the internet connection suck here !!!)
I must say that it is not as bad as i thought it would....its pretty much worse !!!
Fallout 3 is the biggest load of shit i have seen so far.seriously...even for a action/rpg it looks quite poor, let alone for a "TRUE FALLOUT SEQUEL " !!!
I think i wont bother reading throught the news section anymore...this game is dead for me !
over and out !
